$10 Million in New Funding Propels D2Audio's New IC Business Model as Second-Generation Intelligent Digital Amplifiers Attract Consumer Brands.


AUSTIN, Texas -- D2Audio(R), the world's only manufacturer of Intelligent Digital Amplifiers(TM), today announced the closing of its $10 million Series D financing led by CenterPoint Venture Partners, with Austin Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Sevin Rosen Funds Sevin Rosen Funds (SRF) is a venture capital firm that was established in 1981 by L.J. Sevin and Ben Rosen. SRF was involved in the financing of ArQule, CIENA, Citrix, Cypress Semiconductor, Electronic Arts, Lotus Development Corporation, Silicon Graphics, and Vitesse.  participating in the round. The growing family of D2Audio audio amplifier products now addresses applications in Home Audio, including Home Theater An audio/video entertainment center that has a large-screen TV and hi-fi system with three speakers in the front (left, right and center) and left and right speakers in the rear.
