LANCASTER - The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors is the five member governing board of Los Angeles County, California. Members of the board of supervisors are elected by district, the current members as of April 2006 are:
  • District 1: Gloria Molina, Democrat
 approved a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for vandalizing 12 Lancaster churches.

Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich Michael Dennis Antonovich (born 1939 in Los Angeles, California) is a member of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors representing the Fifth District, which covers northern Los Angeles County, the Antelope, Santa Clarita, Pasadena, and parts of the San Fernando and San , who made the motion for the reward, is also calling for the county Human Relations human relations nplrelaciones fpl humanas  Commission, the Sheriff's Department and the district attorney to investigate the incident as a possible hate crime.

``This reeks of hate crime,'' said Tony Bell, Antonovich's communications deputy. ``This is a public safety issue and it's imperative that we apprehend whoever is responsible and make sure it never happens again. We're hoping that we can get the public's help.''
