$1.2 Million Contract With Shenzhen Airport Authority Places Unisys Airport Passenger Processing System In Three of China's Top Four Airports.BLUE BELL, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 7, 1998--Unisys Corp. Tuesday announced that it has signed a contract worth more than $1.2 million with China's Shenzhen Airport Authority to provide the Unisys Airport Passenger Processing System (APPS). The solution will be installed at Shenzhen Airport, which will be China's fourth-largest airport when completed in early 1999. The installation of APPS at Shenzhen is expected to begin in fourth quarter 1998. Once implemented, the Unisys APPS solution will be operational in three of China's four largest airports - Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.
