Audrey Hepburn's Dress from "My Fair Lady" Sold

at Auction for $118,000

More than $1,368,505 worth of original TV and movie memorabilia was auctioned yesterday, March 31, by Joseph Maddalena and his internationally famous company, Profiles in History, the number one company in the world for live and simultaneous Internet memorabilia auctions. The auction originated from Profiles in History offices in Beverly Hills. The six-hour auction sold a total of 538 fine artifacts artifacts

 headlined by the single most important costume ever created for a motion picture, Audrey Hepburn's Ascot dress from "My Fair Lady," designed by Academy Award(R) winner Cecil Beaton. It sold at auction for $118,000.

The car sold for $192,050; Captain Kirk's Commander chair from the 1960's "Star Trek" series, selling for $305,000; and the Superman costume worn by George Reeves in the 1955 TV series "The Adventures of Superman Adventures of Superman may refer to the following works featuring Superman:
