Cable's Closing Bash to Feature KC and the Sunshine Band

) said today it is finalizing preparations for the most comprehensive program in the 56-year history of The Cable Show. Featuring 87 sessions, NCTA's Annual Convention and International Exposition will be held May 7-9, 2007 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center The Mandalay Bay Convention Center is one of the largest privately owned and operated convention centers in the world. The 1 million square foot facility is owned by MGM Mirage. It is attached to the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino and adjacent to the Mandalay Bay Events Center.  in Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States. .

KC and the Sunshine Band to Shake Up The Cable Show;

Continuing a celebratory tradition featuring icons of pop and rock music, NCTA announced today that all Cable Show participants are invited to "Shake, Shake, Shake" to KC and the Sunshine Band at this year's closing night party. The event, hosted by Motorola, opens at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9 at the House of Blues House of Blues (HOB) is a chain of music halls and restaurants founded in 1992 by Hard Rock Cafe founder Isaac Tigrett and his friend and investor Dan Aykroyd. It is a home for live music and southern-inspired cuisine, whose clubs celebrate African-American culture, specifically  - located in the Mandalay Bay Hotel complex. As a special treat - the warm up act features longtime cable journalist and Washington, D.C.-area musician Mike Grebb, executive editor of CableFAX Daily. All registered delegates may pick up their party tickets at the Party Voucher Desk during normal convention business hours BUSINESS HOURS. The time of the day during which business is transacted. In respect to the time of presentment and demand of bills and notes, business hours generally range through the whole day down to the hours of rest in the evening, except when the paper is payable it a bank or by a .
