. The idea of the program is to have older adults log the distances they walk, the goal being to walk the width and length of Delaware (over an unlimited time). The Senior Olympians have received a grant to implement this program in a variety of senior centers. The Senior Olympians act as role models in this program as they present the program to other seniors and adults with physical disabilities at senior centers, assisted living as·sist·ed living n. A living arrangement in which people with special needs, especially older people with disabilities, reside in a facility that provides help with everyday tasks such as bathing, dressing, and taking medication. facilities and, in some cases, nursing homes.
