Schofield Media (Chicago, IL), the producer of seven titles for the U.S. market, has begun the publication of "Venture North America," a quarterly business magazine for executives in both the U.S. and Canada. It has an initial controlled circulation of 33,000 CEOs and other senior level managers of North American service, manufacturing, mineral, agricultural and other businesses, more than 80% of whom work for companies with revenues of at least $100 million.

Schofield said the new magazine "represents a unique venue" for business executives on both sides of the border to share their successes around the globe, as well as in their own domestic markets. Editorial includes information on such topics as the U.S. and Canadian economies, free trade and tariffs, the business impact of elections, China as a competitor and growth market, supply chain management, information technology, strategic alliances, and corporate ethics, among others.

The premier Spring/Summer issue includes stories on: Boeing's supply chain innovations; Canadian and U.S. regulatory convergence; small business markets; Canada's energy sector; long term goals for agricultural operations; marketing new water treatment products; managing growth; technology and labor challenges; and, innovative business strategies of Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Canada.
