of United States Antimony Corp.) is permitting a major plant expansion for its plant in southern Idaho. The installation of line electricity has already begun, and a vertical roller mill has been purchased that has a capacity of approximately 15 tons per hour of very finely ground zeolite. This addition will increase capacity by approximately 100%. The installation of the electricity is expected to result in a major reduction in operating costs.

Three thousand tons of the new BRZ production will be sold as a "pozzolan poz·zo·lan   also poz·zo·la·na or poz·zuo·la·na

in the concrete. The corrosion of the rebar can result in failure of structural concrete installations. The balance of the finely-ground BRZ production will be available for flow agents, waste water treatment, animal nutrition, environmental remediation, animal feed palletizing, dairy cow milk supplements, odor control, pond liners, and a variety of other uses.

BRZ has received the full $500,000 payment for the sale of certain marketing rights for the Pozzolan.

A major deficit in the domestic supply of Portland concrete has occurred during the last several years. The BRZ Pozzolan could help offset the shortage.
