"Transmit" magazine to debut at cable TV trade show.


In related news, cable industry magazine veteran Paul Levine has formed Transmit Publications, Inc. (Englewood, CO) to begin the publication of Transmit magazine with an issue that will debut at the annual California Cable & Telecommunications Communicating information, including data, text, pictures, voice and video over long distance. See communications.  Association's (Oakland, CA) "Western Show" to be held Dec. 2-5 in Anaheim (CA). The title will be published monthly with a controlled circulation of 20,000.

 said the magazine will explore how engineering and technology impact the operational and business phase of cable TV systems. Its editorial mission "focuses on helping cable operators deploy technology to increase their business at every turn, from design, construction and maintenance to marketing, advertising, programming, customer service and IT." It will be targeted at upper and middle management at cable TV operations who have buying responsibility.
