As the host country, the Dominican Republic will present a slate of 10 priority projects. A series of regional projects round out the list, including the TransAndean Railway ($220 million) connecting Argentina and Chile; the Feristsa Railway ($850 million), connecting Panama through Central America to Mexico; and the critical South American gas ring project ($4.5 billion) joining Peru, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile. Projects in 10 Infrastructure Categories: The Panama Canal Expansion is the leader in terms of project size at $5.3 billion in total enterprise value, and will be presented by the Chairman of the Board of the Panama Canal Commission and Minister of Canal Affairs, Mr. Ricuarte Vasquez Morales.
