"Tomorrow's technician" launched by Babcox.

Automotive industry publisher Babcox (Akron, OH) has begun the publication of Tomorrow's Technician with a January/February issue. The new title will be published seven times a year. Each issue will be delivered to over 1000 accredited automotive schools and distributed on a controlled basis to 50,000 secondary and post-secondary vocational students.

Taglined "today's information source for tomorrow's automotive service professional," the new magazine is targeted to 17-to-25 year old automotive vocational/technical students and is designed to provide both editorial for those students and resources for the vocational instructor. Editorial includes information on new technologies, servicing techniques, engine design and repair, diagnostic and service techniques, the import service market, machine shop services and underhood systems.

Babcox information products focus on segments of the automotive industry. The company's eight other magazine titles include BodyShop Business, Counterman, Brake & Front End, Underhood Service and TechShop. The company also produces related guides, directories and Web sites.
