Meister Media (Willoughby, OH), the producer of magazines, reports and events for the agricultural sector, has begun the publication of Today's Garden Center, a magazine for the garden retail industry. It will be published nine times a year with a controlled circulation of 22,000.

The magazine targets senior management at retail garden centers, including owners, presidents, general managers, and managers of retail operations at garden centers, including independents, mass merchandisers, home centers, hardware stores and specialty chain stores. It also targets buyers, marketers, sales reps, yard managers and other related professionals. The title is designed to help business owners "seize their share of sales and increase profitability" and is written to serve as a resource for the latest plants, products, promotions, industry news and management ideas.

Editorial features articles on such topics as loyalty programs and gift cards, statuary and garden art, hard-goods promotion and display, design and loss-prevention, winter holidays, birding products, plant varieties, perennials, and attracting customers at non-traditional times.
