to be Stripped Following "Oprah After The Show"

"The Isaac Mizrahi Show" returns on Oxygen for its second season premiering Wednesday, August 21, at 10:30 p.m.*

The documentary/talk series kicks off its new season with actress/comedian Janeane Garofalo. The half-hour show breaks the traditional talk-show format by getting guests off the ubiquitous couch and up "doing stuff" with Mizrahi. The series moves to a strip following "Oprah After The Show" starting on Monday, September 16, at 10:30 p.m. "The Isaac Mizrahi Show" will also air on Monday's at 7:00 p.m. and Monday through Thursday at 10:30 p.m.

"I'm not a `sit-on-some-horrible-paisley-covered-couch' kind of person," said Mizrahi. "I think talk is more fun when you're doing something."

In the season premiere, Garofalo plays a friendly game of ping-pong and chats with Mizrahi about her thoughts on possible motherhood, her current boyfriend, quitting smoking and her friendship with Ben Stiller. Garofalo also brings along her Labradors, Kid and Dewey, as playmates for Mizrahi's dog Harry, only to have an unexpected "accident" happen all over the set.

In future episodes of the series, Mizrahi consults with Rosie O'Donnell on a new haircut; bathes his dog, Harry, with Natalie Portman; goes on a shopping spree with Kristin Davis; stays fit with John Leguizamo and designs a dress for Selma Blair.

After launching his line of clothing in 1987, Mr. Mizrahi went on to be a three-time recipient of the CFDA Designer of the Year Award. In 1995, Mr. Mizrahi was the subject of the highly acclaimed documentary "Unzipped" which takes a look at his life through every stage of the creative process. He continued his professional success when he starred in his critically acclaimed one-man off-Broadway show, "Les Mizrahi," in 2000. He recently won a Drama Desk Award for his costume design of "The Women." In addition, he has recently appeared in the Woody Allen film "Hollywood Endings."

Three-time Tony Award winning producer, Dori Berinstein serves as executive producer of "The Isaac Mizrahi Show." With over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Berinstein recently won her third Tony for the smash Broadway hit "Thoroughly Modern Millie." Previously, she won a Tony for "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," starring Gary Sinise, and the Bill Irwin/David Shiner play "Fool Moon." Ms. Berinstein has served as executive producer and supervised many films including "Dirty Dancing" and "Unzipped." She also serves as executive producer for Oxygen's upcoming special "Eavesdropping with Alan Cumming" and the upcoming documentary "Women of Wall Street."
