"The Ellen DeGeneres Show" And AOL Team up for New Online Program.

Users Can Create Rich Online Scrapbooks of Photos, Videos, Stories About People, Places and Events; "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to Feature Select Entries

NEW YORK -- AOL announced today that it is teaming up with "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to create a unique online program that invites Americans to share photos, videos, and stories about the entertaining people, places and events in their lives. The program will be produced by AOL and Telepictures Productions, an industry leading and Emmy Award winning producer of syndicated programming.

During the course of the program, which runs in the fourth quarter of 2007 on AOL, (http://www.aol.com), "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" will select stories about users' hometowns to feature on a recurring segment. More details will be announced on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" at the beginning of the show's fifth season in the fall of 2007.

Currently in its fourth season, "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" is a syndicated one-hour talk show that highlights the observational brand of humor that host Ellen DeGeneres perfected as a stand-up comedian. Adding her personal warmth, insight and talent for tackling topical discussions and in-depth interviews, her unique style touches every aspect of the show. "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" is the only talk show in the history of the Daytime Emmys to win three consecutive awards for Outstanding Talk Show in its first three seasons. The show has recently been nominated for 12 Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show and Outstanding Talk Show Host, more than any other talk show this season. The awards will be presented on Friday, June 15, 2007.

AOL and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" will unveil the program at the AOL First Look event in New York City today, along with several other new programs, including "Gold Rush Goes Hollywood," Ye Olde Shrek the Third Royal Tournament," Million Dollar Bill," and "iLand." AOL First Look is the first time an online network has announced a series of major-scale programs at a single event, similar to traditional upfront events in the television industry.
