"Sinai"

   Cogs of snowflakes
   Icing ground, Goliath trudging behind
   Sleighs slicing, ground writhing below
   We iz
   Lips quaking, sucking raw seal
   Kinks silvering in the sleet
   JAH!

   Solidify these bones, these ankles
   Bare on tundra

   Remember these backs
   With scars swollen to serpents

   Remember these fathers
Letting first-borns slip into the sea
   Like parachutes, sinking
Bouncing on the heads of humpbacks

   Remember this people
Like water pouring back into your hands

   We stiffen to sleet
   And clatter

   Clatter
