SimplyHired.com Wins BusinessWeek's "Best of the Web 2006" for Jobs Category

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- Simply Hired SimplyHired.com is a job search engine. The company was founded in 2004 by Gautam Godhwani and Peter Weck, and the initial beta site launch occurred on March 16, 2005. As of April 2006 the company has raised $17.  (www.SimplyHired.com), the world's largest search engine for jobs, announced today that BusinessWeek BusinessWeek is a business magazine published by McGraw-Hill. It was first published in 1929 (as The Business Week) under the direction of Malcolm Muir, who was serving as president of the McGraw-Hill Publishing company at the time.  has named SimplyHired.com as the "Best of the Web 2006" for finding jobs. Simply Hired received top votes from BusinessWeek readers and staff, topping other notable nominees including HotJobs, LinkedIn LinkedIn is a business-oriented social networking site, mainly used for professional networking. As of October 2007, it had more than 15 million registered users, spanning 150 industries and more than 400 economic regions (as classified by the service). , Monster, and Media Bistro.
