"Redmond Channel Partner" magazine from 101communications.


101communications (Irvine, CA), the publisher of Redmond magazine, will will begin the publication of Redmond Channel Partner magazine with an issue that will debut at the "Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2005" in Minneapolis (MN) this July. Two additional issues will be produced in 2005 with frequency increasing to monthly in 2006.

The magazine will have a controlled circulation of 25,000 professionals who sell large volumes of Microsoft and third-party software and hardware, including value-added resellers A value-added reseller (VAR) is a company that adds some feature(s) to an existing product(s), then resells it (usually to end-users) as an integrated product or complete "turn-key" solution. , value-added partners, large account resellers, systems integrators, distributors, and Microsoft certified See certification.  partners. 101communications said the new title will serve the Microsoft channel and will include editorial that is "100% focused" on the needs of the target audience.

Editor-in-chief Paul Desmond Paul Desmond (25 November 1924 - 30 May 1977), born Paul Emil Breitenfeld, was a jazz alto saxophonist and composer born in San Francisco, best known for the work he did in the Dave Brubeck Quartet and for penning that group's greatest hit, "Take Five".  "our editorial goal is a simple one that is reflected in our tagline, 'driving success in the Microsoft partner community.' 101communication's Redmond magazine was originally launched in 1995 as Microsoft Certified Professional See Microsoft certification.  Magazine and relaunched with a new name in October 2004. The title provides product, business and how-to information to network professionals, IT managers and IT directors focusing on the Microsoft Windows See Windows.
