"Privacy and Data Security Review" from Sheshunoff.

Sheshunoff Information (Austin, TX) has begun the publication of "Privacy and Data Security Review," a monthly journal that is designed to explore developments and trends relating to privacy and data security issues. An annual subscription costs $349.

The company said the journal provides news and analysis of the ongoing changes effecting privacy and data security. Editorial covers such topics as identity theft, data mining and security, security breach laws, trans-border data flow, trends in consumer privacy, Internet and new media privacy, cyber security, avoiding criminal e-mail interception and spyware guidance issued to financial institutions.

Content also includes information on responding to subpoenas and requests for documents, the impact of other nation's laws and standards, government access to personal data, insurance issues, and employee privacy rights, including legal limits on background checks, electronic monitoring and surveillance, investigations and drug testing, and permissible use of medical records and related personal information.
