MWC said the new title addresses best business practices in the sales, marketing and distribution of products along the global pharmaceutical supply chain, from manufacturing to market. PBS publisher Mario Di Ubaldi said the goal of the magazine is to cover the conversion of goods and materials along the global pharmaceutical supply chain and to connect "the top executives of the industry with the vendors, service organizations and logistics providers" for the industry. Editor Nicholas Basta said editorial includes coverage of such topics as parallel trade between countries, adoption of electronic identification of individual drug doses, counterfeiting, security and pharmacy benefit management A Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) is a third party administrator of prescription drug programs. MWC publishes over 70 titles including Pharmacy Times, Food & Drug Packaging and Physician's Money Digest.
