"Nasty" Nas Takes It To The Head

Nas (nè Nasir Jones) turned himself into police yesterday (Wed., Dec. 17, 2003) and was charged with assault for taking a bottle to a dude?s head at club Cielo in NYC on Dec. 10. According to police, Nas was chillin? with several other people in the VIP area when the unidentified man approached him, claiming the Queensbridge rapper had grabbed him. A fight broke out, which a bouncer broke up, but Nas apparently wasn?t having that and flung a bottle at the guy, nailing him in the head that resulted in cuts. After turning himself, Nas was arraigned and posted a $7,500 bail. He?s scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 20.
