It is a year-round resort and a booming military, technological, and commercial city. , Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 31, 1996-- Thousands of travelers have taken advantage of the travel offer of the century.

Now, even more can.

And, an estimated 1,600 Halloween celebrants are expected to party to the sensational music of the Brian Setzer Brian Setzer (born April 10, 1959 in Massapequa, Long Island, New York) is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. History
In the 1980s, Setzer fronted the popular rockabilly band, Stray Cats.

The "Ball" is being held as a thank you to all Westpac travelers and supporters.

Tickets are still available by calling 719/527-7137 or 888/930-3000 or by calling Ticket Master at 303/830-TIXS or 719/520-9090. Ticket cost is only $15 and you must be at least 21 years of age.

"Mystery Fares" start at $69 for round-trip air fares from Colorado Springs/Denver to 22 cities. Is there a catch? You bet. "Mystery Fares" are for a one, two or three night trip to an undisclosed destination. Travelers can't name their destination, but they'll receive hints on whether they are going to a warm or cold climate so they can pack differently for San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  or Orlando.

If travel originates in any of Western Pacific's 22 other destination cities the "Mystery Fare" begins at $99 round-trip. Hotel and rental car options are available for a small additional cost.

"The response to the `Mystery Fares' promotion has been incredible. We knew that people were interested in this, but we didn't know that there were so many adventurous travelers out there," said Tom DeNardin, Westpac's vice president of sales and marketing.

"A `Mystery Fare' is really a `passport to adventure.' Because the response has been amazing, we're extending the `last day to purchase' date from Oct. 31 to Nov. 17. That's two and a half more weeks of `Mystery Fares' excitement -- and this is the second time we've extended them. We want every adventurous traveler to have the opportunity to experience the thrill of a `Mystery' trip.

"We introduced `Mystery Fares' last year and they were a hit. But, they were only for trips from Colorado Springs. Now, we've extended it to our entire system and because of customer demand, we created longer stays. I'm so glad we added hotel and Thrifty Rental Car to the promotion this year, because so far the overwhelming majority of our `Mystery' travelers have chosen these options. `Mystery Fares' have had a tremendous economic impact. Some 10,000 hotel rooms and 6,000 automobiles have been leased because of the promotion. I can only describe the response as superb."
