"My B&N" allows users to create free personal profiles around their interests in books, music and movies. The customised profile pages include a pen name and avatar; a virtual Library; new and improved list-making tools; expanded customer review and ratings features; as well as updates on local store events. When users create a profile page they can choose an online pen name and select an avatar from an collection of colourful characters and then create a virtual Library on their profile page to showcase their favourite books, music and movies.
