Douglas has closed the title as a stand-alone and will publish Motion Control as a section in its Robotics robotics, science and technology of general purpose, programmable machine systems. Contrary to the popular fiction image of robots as ambulatory machines of human appearance capable of performing almost any task, most robotic systems are anchored to fixed positions  World magazine, which will also integrate Motion Control's subscriber list. Douglas currently publishes eight b2b magazines, including American Painting Contractor, Compliance Magazine, Human Capital and Sales & Marketing Strategies & News. ISA will continue to publish ISA Transactions and InTech magazines.
