NCAA Basketball (known as World League Basketball
teams aren't the only ones vying for the number-one spot this March. Starting today, visitors of Vault.com, the Insider Career Network(TM), can vote for the country's most prestigious names in investment banking, law and consulting in Vault's March Madness March Madness may refer to:

 Tournament.

The tournament works like this: Vault's editors have picked the top 32 firms in their respective industries and grouped them into brackets. Visitors then vote for one of the two firms that they believe to be the most prestigious. The top two companies left standing in each industry will face off March 30 through April 3.

Heated debate within the notoriously competitive industries has already surfaced on the tournament message boards. A visitor to the investment banking board writes: "Goldman vs. Houlihan Lokey? HLHZ HLHZ Houlihan, Lokey, Howard & Zukin, Inc. (investment banking services)  better not get more than four votes. And those votes better be from Houlihan, Lokey, Howard & Zukin."

A poster from the consulting board adds: "About the no.1 slot - that one should definitely go to Accenture. Where McKinsey might have been on top in the 80's and the beginning of the 90's, I don't see who else but Accenture is really ready for the world we live in now."
