"Management on recovery of reclaimed resources" issued.


On March 27th, six ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Commerce and the National Development and Reform Commission The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) is a powerful macroeconomic management agency under the Chinese State Council, which has broad administrative and planning control over the Chinese economy. Since 2003 the Commission has been headed by Ma Kai.  jointly issued the "Management on the Recovery of Reclaimed re·claim  
tr.v. re·claimed, re·claim·ing, re·claims
1. To bring into or return to a suitable condition for use, as cultivation or habitation: reclaim marshlands; reclaim strip-mined land.
 Resources". The document will start implementation on May 1st, 2007.

It covers 4 aspects including the supervision system for the recovery of reclaimed resources, the establishment principle for recovery stations, the system for putting main enterprises on records and the system for registration of enterprises for the recovery of productive metal scraps.

The document can help promote the recovery of reclaimed resources, standardize stan·dard·ize

2. To evaluate by comparing with a standard.
 the development of the reclaimed resources recovery sector, save resources, protect environment and achieve a sustainable development Sustainable development is a socio-ecological process characterized by the fulfilment of human needs while maintaining the quality of the natural environment indefinitely. The linkage between environment and development was globally recognized in 1980, when the International Union  of the economy and the society.
