Building on the enthusiasm generated by "Mall Tennis," local tennis pros are offering a free 90-minute lesson at Long Island-area clubs May 17-31. Everyone who attends the Mall Tennis event is welcome to sign up for a free lesson, as well as others interested in learning more about tennis. The object of Keep It Up is to bounce a ball on the tennis racquet head for as long as possible. Stand Your Ground is a volleying game. Real tennis pros on one side of the net serve balls to players, who in turn attempt to hit the balls back into baskets.
