Linux Magazine (ISSN 1432-640X) is a European professional journal. It addresses itself to readers who work professionally with the Linux operating system.
 with an April issue. To be published six times a year, it will be sold through subscriptions and on newsstands to both Linux users and programmers. The company also said it will launch an as-yet-unnamed business lifestyle magazine in October.

IMI said that Maximum Linux is the "ultimate resource for everything Linux Everything Linux, also known as elx.com.au, is an Australian Linux and general IT e-commerce retailer. It was first opened in 1999 by Anthony Rumble, and is currently located in the Sydney suburb of Silverwater. " and that editorial focuses on delivering information to improve readers' skill level. An "editorially-- driven" CD--ROM is included with each issue and carries full versions of Linux, application demos, shareware Software on the "honor system." The concept is that users try a product, and if they like it, they voluntarily pay a set registration fee or make a donation to the program's creator. There are tens of thousands of shareware programs; some fantastic, some awful.  and utilities, and upgrades that complement the magazine's "how-to" features. The company said a test issue published in September had an 85% sell-through rate. Editor Bryan Del Rizzo said that "reader response has been tremendous."

In addition, Imagine Media said that it will begin the publication of a business lifestyle magazine with an issue on October 24. The new title will be bundled with IMI's Business 2.0 and will have an initial rate base of 200,000.

Dealing with the "culture of work," the new magazine will be targeted to individuals whose work and personal lives have converged, "people with the power, influence and insight to re-invent their careers, lifestyles, and businesses for the new economy." Editorial will include information on the latest business trends and ideas, new "gadgets," architecture, design, travel and fashion, and "issues common to today's business Today's Business is a show on CNBC that aired in the early morning, 5 to 7AM ET timeslot, hosted by Liz Claman and Bob Sellers, and it was replaced by Wake Up Call on Feb 4, 2002.  people," including cures to burn out and effective strategies for attracting and entertaining clients.

IMI Business Division president Michela O'Connor Abrams said the launch will be "geared toward an audience who appreciates that work life and personal life are intertwined and inextricable in·ex·tri·ca·ble

A second issue will be bundled with Business 2.0 in December with nine stand-alone issues planned for 2001 with a rate base of 125,000.

IMI, Publisher of such other consumer and business title as MacAddict, PC Gamer PC Gamer is a magazine founded in 1993 devoted to PC gaming and published monthly by Future Publishing. The magazine features news on developments in the video game industry, previews of new games, and reviews of the latest popular PC games, along with other features  and Games Business, has been undergoing rapid expansion. So far this year, the company has purchased four consumer technology magazines and related web sites and has launched three consumer titles, including digital-Foto, a monthly photography title, a computer games magazine Computer Games Magazine was a computer gaming print magazine. It was formerly Computer Games Strategy Plus, and before that, Strategy Plus. While its initial focus was on strategy games, it covered a wide range of game genres.  and a music title for "Internet generation."
