Openly gay art student Sean Gyshen Fennell wanted to stimulate viewers of his art "to become more critical of their current society." . The works were recently purchased by the university and hung in a building on campus, drawing criticism from some prominent conservatives, including Portland radio talk-show host Lars Larson.
