"INJAZ launches Business Leaders Campaign 2009".

In a step that aims at inspiring and preparing Jordanian youth, INJAZ launched the Business Leaders Campaign 2009, with support from Credit Suisse as the official sponsor of the campaign.

The Business Leaders Campaign is a pioneering initiative, which tackles an important angle in our students' academic and social lives related to the students' morale and enthusiasm, where it aims at inspiring, motivating and growing students' desire to succeed professionally. The campaign does that through engaging the CEO's of leading companies in schools around the Kingdom to share their knowledge and experience with the students inside classrooms. More than 100 CEO's will be participating this year in this exceptional program to share their aspirations with more than 5,000 students.

Bruno Daher, Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Middle East and Head of Private Banking for Middle East and Indian Sub-Continent, said "Credit Suisse considers the region as one of its most important growth markets. Given its strong presence, the bank is committed to playing an active part in the region's social sphere. In doing so, it supports institutions that are not only innovative, but have a carefully targeted and sustainable impact on society. Injaz is such an institution that has made a visible and valuable impact on the youth and future of Jordan. Credit Suisse has been a long-term supporter of Injaz as it truly complements the bank's philosophy. We are delighted to be a part of the Injaz Business Leaders program that aims to inspire young minds and contributes to the realisation of common good."

The kick-off reception which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel included playing a documentary about the campaign and an orientation presentation to guide the participating CEO's on how to conduct the session inside the classroom.

During the event, INJAZ CEO Deema Bibi said "the Business Leaders Campaign last year had a direct and positive impact on the lives of more than 5,000 students around the Kingdom, and proved that Jordan's business leaders can play a key role in inspiring our students and providing them with the relevant information and knowledge that will guide them and grow their passion for success"

The BLC sessions gain their high impact from the direct and open communication between the students and the Business Leaders. It is indeed extremely inspirational to listen to the story of people who have fought their way to become successful business professionals. At the same time, students ask questions making the sessions exceptionally interactive, giving extra leverage to reach higher impact and make the experience truly eye-opening to the students. 2009 Al Bawaba (www.albawaba.com)
