"ILSI Biomed Israel 2007" to Open Tomorrow with Delegations from 30 Countries and Expectations for 5,000 Participants.

TEL AVIV, Israel -- More than 50 speakers, all of them leading experts of the global biomed industry, will join 80 Israeli speakers in the annual ILSI Biomed Israel week 2007, which starts tomorrow. "We are waiting for 5,000 participants, which makes this year's event the largest life science conference held in Israel to date. ILSI Biomed has been growing continually since we started the conference tradition. Today it is one of the most important international conferences in our industry," says Dr. Raphael Hophstein, chairman of the organizing committee.

Delegations and representatives from 30 countries will participate in ILSI Biomed Israel 2007, which will open tomorrow, 5 June, in Tel Aviv. Attendance figures are impressive: 120 local and 30 overseas exhibitors, 80 local and 50 overseas speakers who will review the trends, the innovations and the hottest developments of the life science industry for the 5,000 participants. The conference is also expected to serve as a conductive forum for the devise and closing of numerous deals.

This year's event will be held in two parallel channels: the Biomed conference for medical equipment, biotechnology, and pharma, and the International Stem Cell Meeting. The exhibition, which is deployed on an area of 2,500 square meters, will host a record number of more than 150 companies from the life science, medical equipment, biotechnology and bio-pharma sectors.
