"About a year ago, I visited the Wounded Warrior Center on Camp Pendleton and was very moved by the experience," said Rob LaBreche, president of Holding Hands. "We are fortunate to have these brave men and women dedicated to serving our country and willing to put their lives on the line for us. I invite all San Diegans to come out and show their support for our troops."

The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund provides assistance to entities like the Wounded Warrior Center, to individual Marines and their families, and to other service members who were injured in combat. The assistance is provided in the form of a grant, with no expectation of repayment, and may help with immediate financial needs such as travel, childcare, lodging, or problems resulting from lost wages.
