"HP in Education" Web Site Unveiled at SchoolTech 2000; HP Expands its Commitment to Education.

Hewlett-Packard Company is showcasing its "HP in Education" Web site at Technology & Learning's SchoolTech Exposition exposition or exhibition, term frequently applied to an organized public fair or display of industrial and artistic productions, designed usually to promote trade and to reflect cultural progress.  and Conference, which runs here April 30 through May 2. HP is leveraging the power and accessibility of the Web to inform educators about new resources available to them - from learning appliances to e-services - and to deliver lesson plans and educational activities that make learning more interactive, compelling and fun for students.

HP in Education, at www.hp.com/go/education, provides educators, parents and students with information about HP's education-related programs, resources, products and services. For K-12 faculty, students and parents, the Web site offers activities for the classroom, integrated solutions and fun educational activities. For higher education higher education

        develop literacy and math skills and makes learning exciting,
        interesting and fun. The section includes interactive learning
        activities, links to reading and writing sites, literature
        lists and writing tips from popular authors.

      --  HP Instant Delivery -- Instant Delivery automatically
        retrieves and prints learning and research material when and
        where it's needed. Teachers and students will spend less time
        searching for information and more time using it.


In addition to the HP in Education Web site, HP will be demonstrating a broad selection of products for the educational market such as calculators, desktop computers and notebook PCs.
