Latner noted that consumers could save as much as $1.6 billion for each 1% increase in generic drug use and that the tabloid will work to provide pharmacists with unbiased product information.

The magazine also operates an online Generics Directory (pharmacytimes.com) that includes names, addresses, and contact data for generic companies.
