"Forgotten Room" offers salvaged art.


Recycling The Past, a national architectural salvage firm based in Barnegat, N.J., has opened a retail center called The Forgotten Room, offering antiques and other salvaged items that can be used in residential and commercial gardens.

The Forgotten Room's sister company Recycling the Past purchases salvage rights at estates, mansions, public buildings and historical sites across the U.S. in order to preserve historical, one-of-a-kind treasures.
