"FLORIDA LAWYER" LAUNCHED BY AMERICAN LAWYER MEDIA.


American Lawyer Media ALM (formerly American Lawyer Media), is a leading integrated media company, focused on the legal and real estate communities. ALM owns and publishes 33 national and regional magazines and newspapers focused on the legal and real estate communities, including  (ALM; New York New York, state, United States

) has begun the publication of Florida Lawyer magazine, a new statewide publication targeting Florida's 79,000 attorneys, with an April issue. An annual subscription price for the new monthly has yet to be determined.

ALM said the launch will focus on industry news coverage as well as analysis of business and management issues impacting law firms This list of the world's largest law firms by revenue is taken from The Lawyer and The American Lawyer and is ordered by 2006 revenue:[1]

, including new business development and compensation, office technology and marketing. ALM's twenty-first publication, the launch is designed to complement The Daily Business Review, the company's daily legal and business newspaper chain covering Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

The premier issue is being distributed to 26,000 attorneys and administrators in 14,000 Florida firms. Editorial includes articles on emerging developments in the area of e-business, nontraditional stock-based compensation, and out-of-state competition from New York, Massachusetts Massachusetts (măsəch`sĭts), most populous of the New England states of the NE United States.  and California. It also include information on the changing Florida bar The Florida Bar is the mandatory state bar association for the state of Florida.
