"Expo Pakistan" exhibition postponed.


KARACHI, November 16, 2009 (Frontier Star): Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has postponed one of the great "Expo Pakistan" exhibition due to the uncertain political and law and order situation in the country. Sources told that "Expo Pakistan" exhibition was scheduled from 22nd December to 24th December 2009 here in Karachi Expo Centre The Karachi Expo Centre is located in the Gulshan Town, Karachi, Pakistan. The Expo Centre is equipped with modern facilities based on international standards creating a market. It comprises of three independent linked halls measuring 6690 m² base area.  in which more than 500 exhibitioners were likely to participate in the "Expo Pakistan" in order to introduce state-of-the-art items being manufactured in Pakistan. Now, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has decided that the "Expo Pakistan" exhibition will be held in from February 26th to 28th, 2010. Sources told that this decision was taken in the meeting recently held in chair of provincial trade minister, Abdul Rauf Siddique. Therefore, it would be difficult to achieve the desired objectives. Sources added that foreigner delegations have expressed dissatisfaction over the law and order situation and avoid staying at five stars hotel.
