An annual subscription to the journal, produced monthly, costs $65 for individuals and $457 for institutions. "Criminal Justice Abstracts Online" is, ironically, only available in print for at least the next year. Produced quarterly, an annual subscription costs $769 for institutions. No individual subscription price is available.

Targeted to professionals interested or involved in European penal systems and practices, "European Journal of Criminology" is written to be a prime source for information and analysis on European crime and criminal justice issues. Launched in partnership with the European Society of Criminology (Brussels), the journal's mission is to "open channels of communications among academics, researchers and policy makers" across Europe. Editorial includes information on crime, analyses of quantitative data, comparative studies, evaluations of interventions and discussions of criminal justice institutions.

Each issue also includes a 'country survey' to summarize relevant information about a country's criminal justice system, reviews of trends in crime and punishment Crime and Punishment (Russian: Преступление и наказание) is a novel by Russian author Fyodor Dostoevsky, that was first published in the , and discussions of recent relevant publications and studies.

"Criminal Justice Abstracts Online," an abstracting database, contains comprehensive coverage of international journals, books, reports, dissertations and unpublished papers on criminology and related disciplines. Produced in cooperation with the Library of Criminal Justice at Rutgers University Rutgers University, main campus at New Brunswick, N.J.; land-grant and state supported; coeducational except for Douglass College; chartered 1766 as Queen's College, opened 1771.
