DALLAS -- The Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter of the American Marketing Association The American Marketing Association, one of the largest professional associations for marketers, has 38,000 members worldwide in every area of marketing. For over six decades the AMA has been the leading source for information, knowledge sharing and development in the marketing profession.  (AMA) announces that on Wednesday, January 17, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., it will host an Executive Luncheon Program at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas featuring Harvey Rosenblum, Executive Vice President and Director of Research, with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas covers the Eleventh Federal Reserve District, which includes Texas, northern Louisiana and southern New Mexico. It has branch offices in El Paso, Houston, and San Antonio. .

As a former Chief Economist The Chief Economist is a single position job class having primary responsibility for the development, coordination, and production of economic and financial analysis. It is distinguished from the other economist positions by the broader scope of responsibility encompassing the  for the Federal Reserve Bank, Mr. Rosenblum will share his insights on where the economy is headed and what the prospects are for business growth across the Metroplex A metroplex is large metropolitan area containing several cities and their suburbs.[1] It is also sometimes used as an alternative to metropolis or megalopolis, which is a chain of continuous metropolitan areas.  and the nation, while outlining the role of the bank in our monetary system.

The pre-event registration deadline is Tuesday, January 16, 2007, and is priced at $28 for AMA members and $38 for non-members. On-site registration is available, but for an additional $10 per person. The DFW AMA, the eighth largest chapter of the American Marketing Association, holds monthly luncheon programs in Dallas on the third Wednesday of each month at Brookhaven Country Club. In Fort Worth, AMA luncheons are held on the fourth Thursday of every month at the Fort Worth Club in downtown Fort Worth. Attendance is open to non-members and those in all areas of the business community across the Metroplex.
