If they want to win the $1 million prize, each duo had better already have a strong relationship, advises Joe Baldassare, half of the gay Team Guido from Race's first season. "If you've got conflicts," he says, "they're only going to get exacerbated from the stress [of the competition]."

As for Dennis learning more about how his gay son Andrew lives his life, the race is too fast for all that, Baldassare says: "I don't think they're going to be going to any gay bars together for Dad to find out how well his son dances or picks up guys."
