"DENTIST'S S MONEY DIGEST" FROM MEDICAL WORLD UNIT.Dental Learning Systems Co. (DLS DLS abbr. Doctor of Library Science ), a division of Medical World Communications (Jamesburg, NJ), has begun the publication of Dentist's Money Digest with a June issue. It has a controlled circulation of 127,000 dentists nation wide. A second issue will be published in November and six issues are planned for publication in 2001. Described as "a practical personal finance magazine written and edited specifically for dentists," the launch carries information on such topics as stocks, mutual funds, taxes, retirement and estate planning Estate Planning The overall planning of a person's wealth, including the preparation of a will and the planning of taxes after the individual's death. Notes: Contrary to popular belief, estate planning involves much more than preparing a will, and it is not only for the , insurance, college planning, real estate, online finances, and how practice economics effect personal economics. Editor Gregory Kelly said that, to maintain today's living standard, "today's dentist must become more knowledgeable and involved regarding his/her own personal finances and investments." With the new magazine "dentists can easily comprehend advice and apply it to improve money-management skills, protect growing net worth and avoid common investing mistakes."
