The following presentations and speakers will be featured at the Internet World Fall Session 231 on Oct. 26 beginning at 2:45 p.m.
-- Introduction Note by Olle Wastberg, Consul General of Sweden, New York.
Wastberg will start the session with a brief history of the political and
socioeconomic forces behind Sweden's unique cultural and business climate.

-- Sweden Leads the Way into the New Economy, with Ulf Jonstromer. Jonstromer
will discuss the overall Swedish IT picture and its success factors. Jonstromer
is chairman of the Swedish Association of IT and Telecom Industries and founder
of AU-System, Across Wireless, and iD2 Technologies. He is also the founding
partner of BrainHeart Capital and sits on the board of Sveriges Industriforbund
(The Federation of Swedish Industries), SEIS (The Organization for Secured
Electronic Information in Society), and Connect Stockholm.

-- Stockholm - the Internet Capital of Europe, with Christer Sturmark. Sturmark
will use examples to speak about Stockhom as the nucleus for the development of
Wireless Valley. Sturmark is a world-renowned Internet entrepreneur, author,
debater, and independent political advisor. He is founder and chairman of Fame
Studios, founder of Cell Network and Cell Ventures, and board member of a
number of businesses, including NordNet AB, Forum SQL AB, Roaming Factory,
Municel, and AddYourLogo-Reklambolaget. Sturmark is also one of the founders of
the Hjarnmyntet (The Brain Currency) foundation.

-- Mobile Internet in Mobile Valley, presented by Zaheed Haque. Zaheed will
offer a presentation featuring the most successful companies in Mobile Internet
in the Wireless Valley. Zaheed is the founder and CEO of room33, a leading
mobile software and portal technology company, focusing on future strategies
and new business opportunities and leveraging technology and partnerships.
Prior to founding room33, Haque held management positions at Ericsson in the
Internet, media, and wireless sectors, where he developed and deployed digital
strategies for Ericsson and its customers.

-- Business Opportunities and Venture Capital in Sweden, with speaker James
Blom. Blom will conclude the seminar with information about business
opportunities and venture capital in Sweden. Blom is director of business
development at Exodus Communications. He has also held management positions at
Compaq, CMGI, BlackSun Corp., Sense8 Corp., Digital Studio, and StereoGraphics
Corp.
