Beat FM 102.5 has recently announced a new competition targeting the youth segment of its listeners. The competition allows winners to attend a concert for the famous American singer "Christina Aguilera", which will be held in Abu Dhabi on October 24th, 2008 in the Emirates Palace Hotel.

To win the competition, participants had to listen to Beat FM 102.5, for as long as it takes, to be able to send text messages to numbers announced in the channel, which should have contained the sender's name as well as the name of the song performed by "Aguilera Aguilera is a last name which may refer to the following people:
  • Aaron Aguilera, professional wrestler
  • Carolina Aguilera, journalist
  • Christina Aguilera, (b. 1980) American singer
  • Diego MarĂ­n Aguilera (d. 1799), Spanish inventor

The selection process for the two winners in the competition was based on a draw which contained all the text messages sent that were received at the station with correct answers of the names of songs broadcasted on the channel for "Aguilera". Such process was meant to select the good and loyal listeners who are fans for "Aguilera" and interested in attending the concert; therefore, Ms. Deema Khabbazeh and Ms. Razan Obeidat have won.

The award is not only a VIP ticket to the concert. Beat FM 102.5 also provides the winners with an extra ticket to the concert, so the winners

can invite a friend or a family member to attend.
