"Chest Physician" from Elsevier Society News Group.


International Medical News Group (IMNG IMNG International Medical News Group ; Morristown, NJ), a unit of Elsevier Society News Group (ESNG ESNG Eastern Shore Natural Gas Company (US) ), has begun the publication of "Chest Physician," a new monthly journal for pulmonologists, critical care physicians, cardio-thoracic surgeons, and cardiologist, as well as all members of the American College of Chest Physicians The American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) is a medical organization consisting of physicians and non-physician specialists in the field of chest medicine, which includes pulmonology, thoracic surgery, and critical care medicine.  (ACCP; Northbrook, IL). It has a controlled circulation of 21,500.

The new journal is designed to provide clinical information and the latest news in chest medicine specialties, as well as updates on ACCP matters and events. It includes coverage of clinical, regulatory, legislative and financial aspects of cardiopulmonary and critical care specialties with information on practice trends and new technologies.

Initial issues cover such topics as: physician pay cuts by Medicare and Medicaid Medicare and Medicaid

U.S. government programs in effect since 1966. Medicare covers most people 65 or older and those with long-term disabilities. Part A, a hospital insurance plan, also pays for home health visits and hospice care.
