This fall, Oprah Winfrey extends her reach out onto the World Wide Web with the launch of Oprah.com (www.oprah.com). In the spirit of Oprah's "Change Your Life TV," Oprah.com will empower Oprah viewers by enabling them to access the experts and utilize the information and advice offered on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." In addition, to kick off her new Web site, Oprah herself will participate in a live chat with viewers today, MONDAY, OCTOBER 19, from 9:00-10:00 p.m., ET. Oprah will discuss her show, her Web site and her newest movie, "Beloved," which hit theaters October 16.

"Change Your Life TV" is Oprah's new campaign encouraging viewers to make small adjustments that can create big results in their lives. Oprah.com will provide program-related information and an area in which viewers can suggest show topics, be considered as guests on the show and share their stories with other Oprah viewers around the world. Multimedia features, including video and audio clips from the show, will allow users to interact with the show as never before. Oprah.com is a collaborative effort of ABC Internet Group and Harpo Productions, which produces "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

While closely aligned with "The Oprah Winfrey Show," the objective of Oprah.com is to go a step beyond the show by providing users with an engaging interactive experience, as well as a strong information resource.

-- Change Your Life TV - An area produced in conjunction with

Oprah's new on-air campaign encouraging viewers to make small

adjustments that can create big results in their lives. Users

will be able to communicate via email with Dr. Phil McGraw on

motivation, John Gray on personal success, Iyanla Vanzant on

empowerment, Mark Bryant on parent/child relationships, and Suze

Orman on financial independence. The area will include

motivational quotes, and interactive calculators about love,

money matters, and emotional blocks to success;

-- The Oprah Winfrey Show - An area in which users can obtain

information on upcoming show topics, tickets, ordering

transcripts, additional resources;

-- Be On The Show -- Viewers are invited to submit their own stories

on show topics in development and have the chance to become a
