 magazine with a September issue. The new title will be produced monthly with an initial controlled circulation of 25,000 chief marketing officers and related marketing professionals. A companion Web site, CMOresource.com, will be launched in June.

The two new resources are being designed to provide chief marketers with "the information they need to capture market share and Justify budgets in a recovering economy," CXO said. Editorial will be devoted to offering CMOs information on the latest resources and technologies. The magazine will include reviews of best practices and will cover the full range of marketing disciplines, including marketing governance, advertising relations, promotion and budget/salary trends.

Content will focus on such new developments as the growth of interactive marketing, including Web sites, extranets, Internet advertising/sponsorship, e-mail and new media. CXO executive Lew McCreary Lew McCreary is an American author, editor, and speaker.

McCreary was born on September 21, 1947. He is editorial director of CXO Media Inc., and is a source for media outlets on issues of technology and security.
 said that "unfortunately, the results of many marketing programs ... can be tricky to measure. This is an age-old challenge for the marketing profession and a premise for both the new magazine and Website."
