"BioProcess International" from Informa Life Sciences Group.

Informa Life Sciences Group (Westborough, MA) will begin the publication of BioProcess International with an issue in January. The new monthly will have a controlled circulation of 30,000 in the U.S, Canada and Europe.

Informa said the title will be targeted to middle to upper level management, project managers, and team leaders working in all phases of the biopharmaceutical, biovaccine, and biodiagnostic development and manufacturing process. It is described as the "only international publication devoted to the development, scale-up and manufacture of biotherapeutics."

Editorial for the publication will include information on the application of biotechnology to industry, focusing on biopharmaceutical applications including: proteins, peptides, hormones, vaccines, antibiotics, gene transfer, biodiagnostics, and cell and tissue therapies. It will also include industry and investor news, executive profiles, and information on lab techniques, bio safety, information technology, delivery methods, facility location and design, politics and public policy and logistics.

Informa Life Sciences Group also produces BioTechniques and BioProcess News magazines, D&MD Report newsletter and related briefings for pharmaceutical and biotch executives.
