"This technology brings affordable fluorescent dimming to commercial and residential applications," said CSL Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing Gil Sperry.

"At present, we plan to incorporate the Luminoptics dimming ballasts into our existing products; for the future, we are keeping our options open as to the introduction of other product lines using this technology. "When you combine the energy efficiency of fluorescent lighting with our dimmable technology -- realizing that lighting consumes about 25 percent of all electricity generated in the United States -- the savings potential is enormous," Alling said. "With CSL's help, we plan to continue developing our ballast technology," Alling continued, "including other innovations to be announced To be announced (TBA)
