LAS VEGAS -- Rick Najera's award winning comedy Latinologues(TM), will be performed one night only at the legendary Stardust star·dust

 Resort and Casino in the famous Wayne Newton Theater on Thursday, September 16 at 8:00 p.m., Mexican Independence Day. LATINOLOGUES(TM) at the Stardust is produced by Paul Murad Productions, co-produced by Rick Najera and Rene Lavan and sponsored by Southwest Airlines.

The show will feature one of Mexico's most noted telenovela A telenovela is a limited-run television serial melodrama of the type made famous in Latin America. The word is a portmanteau of tele, short for television, and novela ("novel/soap opera"). Telenovelas are essentially soap operas in miniseries format.  actresses, Cynthia Klitbo (Al Filo De La Ley, Velo De Novia II, Mi Destino Eres Tu Mi Destino Eres Tu is a Mexican novela that came out in the year 2000. Latinologues(TM) is a collection of live comedic and poignant monologues about the Latino experience in America that has toured the nation to sold-out crowds and received standing ovations. This show has been a favorite across the nation for years with a rotating cast performing monologues that keep the show fresh. Each story is meant to educate, inspire and most of all make you laugh. The show has received outstanding reviews such as 'Top Pick', 'Recommended' and 'Critics Choice' from top theater critics and most notably won a 2004 Image Award for Best Live Theatrical Performance.

LATINOLOGUES(TM) is a service and a showcase for the Latino community, featured in theatres across the country and in special appearances at Showtime's Latino Laugh Festival, HBO's Aspen Comedy Festival, The Big Stinkin' Comedy Festival and the Festival of Independent Theaters in Dallas.
